Two CIRANO Invited Fellows have recently contributed to leading strategic initiatives focused on quantum technologies, an emerging field with far-reaching economic, organizational, and policy implications.
Richard Bruno, CIRANO Invited Fellow, was consulted for the report “Quantum – Perspectives on Strategic Levers for Québec’s Leadership in Quantum”, recently published by Volume10. The report examines key conditions for positioning Québec as a global quantum leader, with particular attention to innovation ecosystems, talent development, and stakeholder coordination.
Anne-Marie Hubert, CIRANO Invited Fellow, contributed to the guide “Quantum How – A Leadership Guide for the Quantum Era”, published in December 2025. Designed for boards of directors and executive teams, the guide provides strategic insights and practical guidance to help organizations anticipate the profound transformations driven by quantum technologies, particularly in areas such as digital trust, national strategic positioning, and organizational competitiveness.
Through these contributions, the CIRANO Invited Fellows actively support strategic thinking on disruptive technologies and reinforce CIRANO’s mission of bridging academic research, innovation, and decision-making.
