A look back at the 42nd Jean-Yves-Rivard Symposium

The 42nd edition of the Jean-Yves Rivard symposium Entre public et privé : le système de santé du Québec à la croisée des chemins, organized in collaboration by the Université de Montréal's Department of Management, Evaluation and Health Policy, the Centre de recherche en santé publique (CReSP) and CIRANO, was the closing event of CIRANO's 2024 - 2025 thematic year.

The event brought together decision-makers, managers, clinicians and the university research community, including several CIRANO researchers: Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin (Polytechnique Montréal), Olivier Jacques (École de santé publique de l'Université de Montréal (ESPUM)), Nadia Sourial (ESPUM), Emmanuelle Arpin (ESPUM), François Castonguay (ESPUM), Michel Poitevin (Université de Montréal) and Roxane Borgès Da Silva (ESPUM).

The Scientific Committee for this 42nd edition was made up of Emmanuelle Arpin (ESPUM), François Castonguay (ESPUM), Roxane Borgès Da-Silva (ESPUM) and Olivier Jacques (ESPUM), who also presented a recent CIRANO study on Public preferences on the role of the public and private sectors in Quebec.
