During the 2024 Order of Psychologists Awards ceremony, Jacques Forest, Full Professor at ESG UQAM and CIRANO researcher, was awarded the Prix professionnel de l'Ordre des psychologues du Québec. 

This award recognizes his influence on the practice, research, and teaching of psychology. He has written several scientific articles on self-determination theory in the workplace context, positive psychology in professional environments, as well as the positive and negative meanings of money and monetary rewards. Throughout his career, he has delivered over 585 public presentations and participated in scientific conferences around the world. A skilled and rigorous communicator, Jacques Forest has made more than 250 media appearances, helping to popularize and make psychological science accessible to a broader audience.
