This special edition highlights the reflections and work carried out as part of CIRANO's 2023-2024 thematic year. This thematic year was led by the principal researchers of CIRANO's Sustainable Development and Agri-Food theme: Annie Royer (Université Laval), Sophie Bernard (Polytechnique Montréal) and Lota Tamini (Université Laval), with the invaluable collaboration of Ingrid Peignier, CIRANO's Project Director.
Under the coordination of Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin and Carole Vincent, and thanks to a research community bringing together recognized experts, this special issue explores concrete solutions for strengthening sustainability and innovation in the Quebec biofood sector.
