The objective of the structuring project on the state of the labour market in Quebec is to delineate six different areas of the PRPG's research programme (labour market participation, immigration, teaching and education, innovation and productivity, taxation and regulation) by identifying known data, available information and analyses that have already been carried out. Each of these areas is covered in a separate chapter of this document. This exercise provides an opportunity to establish a coherent structure for linking and presenting the different areas. To carry out this exercise, several CIRANO researchers, experts in their field, took part in the project.
