Radio-Canada's scientific culture programme Découverte looked at ‘reproducibility’ in economics and the social sciences. Economists Axel Brodeur, professor at the University of Ottawa, and Marie Connolly, professor in the Department of Economics at ESG UQAM, CIRANO researcher and Fellow, discussed with scientific journalist Binh An Vu Van the fundamental principles of reproducibility, which is increasingly recognised as an essential tool for ensuring the transparency and credibility of scientific research.

Marie Connolly, also data editor for the Canadian Journal of Economics, helped design the training courses offered by the Quebec Inter-University Centre for Social Statistics (QICSS) in research reproducibility.
