Growing Together: Canada–Norway Perspectives on Early Childhood Education

How do the family policies and the organization of early childhood education services differ between Canada (Québec) and Norway?

On October 21,The Centre de recherche en santé publique (CReSP), CIRANO, and the Observatory for Children’s Education and Health (OPES), in collaboration with AQCPE, are pleased to invite you to a conference entitled Growing Together: Canada–Norway Perspectives on Early Childhood Education.

Three key themes will be addressed:

  • Equity and participation of families from vulnerable backgrounds,
  • Quality of services in a mixed system (public/private),
  • Recognition and valorization of early childhood professionals.

The Scandinavian perspective will be presented by Professor Henrik Zachrisson (University of Oslo), and the Québec perspective by Professor Sylvana Côté (Université de Montréal, CIRANO). The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Marie-France Raynault.

This conference will be held in English and French.

Snacks will be provided during the conference. 

Registration is free but mandatory.
